Parent Commissioning 26'

If you’ve never participated in a Parent Commissioning service before here at our church, it’s never too late to do so! 

Through this event, parents learn the following 3 biblical truths: 

  1. Our kids don’t belong to us, but instead are a heritage and unmerited reward from the Lord. 
  2. We don’t just dedicate our children - we also dedicate ourselves, as we are called to make a commitment to love our kids even when times get tough.
  3. Parenting is not meant to be done alone! Instead, we can ask for help in the form of a commitment from the community of believers surrounding us - the church. 

Please note: there is a special 2-week pre-requisite class offered for participating parents during the 9 am hour on April 26th and May 3rd (In Room 210 of the Preschool Building). On Mother’s Day Sunday (May 10th), families will be presented to the church during the 10:30 am worship service. All families who participate receive a special gift and a complimentary professional family photo taken on Mother's Day!

This is for families/parents of kids of all ages.
Registration Deadline: April 23, 2026
